It's Thursday and George Harrison and Styx make up today's Segue City Special as we head toward the weekend. It's quiet and there's no baseball tonight as the major clubs are all off today so we could flowers on the wall here in the studio or go down the street to see for sure if the HOT NOW light is on yet and if so, in that case, we have some place to hang out for while...

Segue City is a recurring short-form programming element. At some point it will be a part of "The Big Kahuna." That’s an Internet Radio format that’s a part of Global Entertainment Technology that was created by Dain L. Schult.

It revives the art of mixing two songs together in a seamless pattern where it is tough to tell where the first song ended and the second one began. Sometimes the segues may also revolve around thematic ideas like matching or similar song titles.

Other times there are hidden meanings and Easter Eggs in the mix as well. We'll try anything because no two Segue City Specials will ever be exactly the same...
