Hurricane-force storm hits southern Germany

A fierce storm has swept through southern Germany after days of temperatures over 30°C. Hurricane-force winds and heavy rainfall hit buildings and trees, and damaged electric poles. Despite the ferocity of the storm, no injuries have been reported.
