Nature is an amazing thing. Being in a developed area, you are not exposed to the same degree of nature as you would in say a rain forest or a mountain. Because of that, these kinds of encounters are extremely rare. To be safe, it is best not to engage these animals as they are massive in stature and weight, making it very easy to overpower a human. Check out this insane encounter with a herd of bison.

The Yellowstone Park bison herd in Yellowstone National Park is probably the oldest and largest public bison herd in the United States. Yellowstone is known for its geothermal activity and large mammals, especially elk, wolves, American bison, bears, pronghorns, moose and bighorn sheep.
