WHICH WATERFALL IS YOUR FAVORITE? Dingmans Falls

Hi everyone, welcome back to our channel! Today we’re going to share with you our amazing experience of visiting Dingmans Falls, one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Pennsylvania.🌊
Dingmans Falls is located in Dingmans Ferry, a charming town in the Pocono Mountains region. It’s the second-highest waterfall in the state, with a vertical drop of 130 feet! You can see it from a handicap-accessible boardwalk trail that also passes by another stunning waterfall called Silverthread Falls.
The trail is about 1.4 miles round trip and it’s very easy and scenic. You can hear the soothing sound of the water and enjoy the lush greenery of the hemlock ravine. The trail ends at a viewing platform where you can admire the full glory of Dingmans Falls. You can also climb up some stairs to get a closer look at the top of the falls, but be careful as it can be slippery.The water was clear and refreshing, and the air was crisp and cool.
Dingmans Falls is part of the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area, which covers more than 70,000 acres of land along the Delaware River. The falls are named after Andrew Dingman, a Dutch settler who owned a ferry across the river in the 18th century.The falls are fed by Dingmans Creek, which originates from a swamp on top of the Kittatinny Ridge.
