Castlevania Chronicles PS1

Castlevania Chronicles[a] is a platform game in the Castlevania series developed by Konami for the PlayStation and released in Japan on May 24, North America on October 8, and Europe on November 9, 2001.[citation needed] sources]

It is a port of title for the Sharp X68000 released on July 23, 1993[citation needed] as Castlevania,[b] which in turn is a remake of the original Castlevania (1986) for the Famicom Disk System. The X68000 version was never released outside of Japan, as the platform was only distributed there, and is unofficially called Akumajō Dracula X68000 or Castlevania X68000, to differentiate it from other games in the series that share the same title.[ 3][4]

On December 18, 2008, Castlevania Chronicles was made available digitally on the PlayStation Network, as part of the PSOne Classics roster.
