VERY VERY ESY SETUP 10 second
Three years ago, purchased the XXL cot, the tent for the cot, the pad, the gear hanging scabbards for the cot... and once available, the extended rain fly.
Love the whole set-up. Third use, one of the fiberglass poles was broken. Sent this attached pic with an email inquiry to Teton Sports. I was hoping for a new pole and a tutorial on how they want you to make the repair.
Instead, I received word that a whole new tent is on its way to me. Alexandra Pearson has been a joy to communicate with during the process, and they are going above and beyond my expectations.
This tent is also not offered as the Vista 1 (in either a dark brown, or dark green). Im hoping the extended rain fly will also be offered in those colors too...
I will be adding a Vista 1 to my gear inventory. The yellow can now become a spare/back-up/loaner once I get one of the other colors.
At first, I was a little skeptical about this tent, but after using it just one time, I was sold on it 100%! Teton has done it again by combining high quality and excellent value.
After using a few of their backpacks in the past and present, I knew that they put a lot of time and effort into making their gear, but I wasnt sure about how this tent would work out.First off, its light enough to strap onto your pack and you barley feel it.
