User 'AWorld4Change' happened to come across a very attentive bee that was enjoying his company outside. Notice that when he would throw little individual rocks the bee appears to be chasing them. Does anyone know why this is occurring? Let us know!

That is a carpenter bee. They hover near the entrance to their hive and chase away ANY flying bug that is in their territory. He is chasing the rocks thinking they are enemies. The carpenter bees will chew a hole in wood and lay eggs in burrowed tubes.
