The size of this tent is perfect for our family of five and all our camping gear. It comfortably fits all of us with plenty of space for our belongings.
The material of the tent is thick and sturdy, giving us confidence in its durability. The stitching is well done and shows that it is well manufactured.
The assembly process was super easy, even for my son and his friends. They were able to set it up quickly and without any issues during our backyard camping trip.
While some of the stakes did bend while being pushed into the ground, overall, the tent held up well and remained secure throughout the night. In the morning, we did notice that the tent didnt hold much heat, which made it slightly uncomfortable.
However, this can be easily solved by using additional blankets or sleeping bags. The rainfly that comes with the tent is a great addition, providing extra protection from the elements.
Although we didnt get a chance to test it in the rain, we believe it would keep the water out effectively. The zippers on the tent are all sturdy and strong, ensuring that they wont break or get stuck easily.
We especially liked the hand slot on the side, which allowed us to pass items through without fully opening the tent. Disassembling the tent was a breeze and it folded up nicely into the provided carry bag.
The only downside was that the carry bag could have been slightly bigger, as we had to fold the tent quite small to fit. With the hot Texas summer days ahead of us, we are excited to use this tent on our park and fishing outings.
The large mesh windows provide great ventilation and allow us to enjoy the outdoors while staying protected from the sun. As someone who has had negative experiences with off-brand tents before, I was initially hesitant to purchase this one.
However, I decided to give it a try for fair weather car camping. I am pleasantly surprised by its quality, which is better than expected.
Although I wouldnt say it is particularly good for the price, it is a decent tent that fulfills our needs for a large and sturdy camping shelter.
