Since his first appearance in 1939, the masked vigilante known as Batman has been inspiring boys and girl around the world. Both kids and adults alike are dreaming of having their own Bat suit, complete with armor and utility belt!

Jackson Gordon, a Philadelphia University student, designed and created this real-life Batsuit which is able to withstand punches, and even baseball bats and blade attacks. Watch as he showcases the complete suit in action! According to Jackson, the suit protects the wearer while remaining lightweight.

He raised the money to build this suit through a campaign on Kickstarter, gathering over $1000 from 17 enthusiasts. He built the armor using Kevlar and silicone, which weighs over four stone and took Jackson almost 5 months to complete it in his home in Wayne, Pennsylvania. Coincidence? We think not.
