The clarity and quality of the glass is exceptional. I can easily see my shoot n see targets out to 500 yards, providing me with a clear and precise view of my targets.
I have already had success using this scope for long-range shots on coyotes, knocking them down past 900 yards. I am excited to take it out west and really push the limits to see how far I can shoot.
With the reputation of Burris, I have full confidence in this scopes performance. Even though I havent received my custom 300 prc to mount this scope on yet, I have spent time looking through it and can say that the glass is excellent.
It surpasses my expectations, especially after reading some reviews that mentioned it was lacking in quality.
I was pleasantly surprised to find that the scope came dialed up 20 moa from the factory, giving me 19.1 mils or 65.5 moa of elevation right out of the box.
This will allow me to shoot my 300 prc out to 1850 yards. Pairing it with a 20 moa base and 10 moa from Burris XTR signature rings, I should be able to reach 2000 yards without any holdover.
The parallax adjustment is also accurate and provides a wide range of adjustment from 50-800-infinite, which is great for long-range shooting. At 25 power, I have 7 mils of usable holdover, which is impressive.
Comparing this scope to my previous $1500 purchase, a Bushnell Elite 6500 4.5-30x50, the XT II makes the Bushnell look like an impulse purchase at $140.
The difference in quality is significant. Considering the features and performance of this scope, it offers great value for the money.
It is a top-notch scope with a 34mm main tube that makes a noticeable difference, and the first focal plane SCR reticle with matching MIL turrets is a nice touch.
It can easily be compared to the Night Force line of scopes, but at a more affordable price.
