Kapow! An American student made a suit that would make Bruce Wayne dump all his money on him! The 21-year old student named Jackson Gordon from Philadelphia University, designed and created this real-life Batsuit which is able to withstand punches, and even baseball bats and blade attacks.

Jackson made the suit out of Kevlar and silicone molds, weighing just under 56 pounds and took the industrial design student 4 months to complete. He constructed the armored suit with money he raised off Kickstarter. Hoping to raise 1000 dollars, his campaign got backed by 17 supporters, who helped him raise $1255 – more than enough to begin assembly.

With the help of his friend Ozzy, armed with the combat gloves that Jackson made to go along with the suit, he demonstrates the power of protection that his creation can provide its wearer. With his hands above his head, Jackson endured some pretty nasty punches to his abdomen, his sides and shoulders.

As he smiles towards the camera, Jackson says ‘I could do this all day. I can’t even feel it.’. This is his second Batsuit, with the previous one he made a year before, based on Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight Trilogy.
