During opening remarks at a Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee hearing Tuesday, Senator Richard Blumenthal (D-CT) said the pending merger between LIV Golf and the PGA Tour was an attempt by Saudi Arabia to rebrand their public image. Sen. Blumenthal has voiced his opposition to LIV Golf, a league backed by Saudi Arabia’s Private Investment Fund, for more than a year.
