So, what have NATO members actually achieved for Ukraine at the summit?

At the summit in Vilnius, NATO issued a joint statement, saying Ukraine’s path into the alliance can only be considered when conditions are met, and all parties agree. So it looks like one step back instead of one step forward.

Some members of the alliance even said they couldn’t see Kiev joining the bloc while it’s engaged in a military conflict.
