Mudcrabs In The Morning Hunting The Flats At First Light

where Eden takes her first dive for a Coral Trout via speargun, it was now time to get back into our next favorite thing!

Hooking Mud-Crabs with 6mm steel round bars along the flats of the Pilbara, only a short distance away from home in Karratha.

With a low tide of 0.4m forecast for 6 am, and 1.3m for 6 pm, we made the call to try our luck walking the flats at first light instead of at the usual sunset hours, which typically delivers well!

The alarm clock was set for 4 am, and we hobbled out of bed about half an hour thereafter, we then journeyed via 4x4 to reach our destination right on queue, and with what was captured on video, the rest can speak for itself!
