Mamma cat keeps kittens occupied with tail

This feral cat was found under the deck with 6 kittens and then later gave birth to 5 more. So how does a mamma cat like this not go crazy with all those kittens running around? She simply uses her tail to keep them distracted. From the looks of it that seems like a foolproof plan! Credit to 'CynthiaB'.
