....new water tanks plumbed in and all full after a very wet week, brassica cage doing ok, except the cauliflower which is going to seed....got some red currants nearly ripe, but the birds normally beat us to it....new wood store behind the shed finished and all the timber is now on racks....herbs thriving on the porch, and in the main bed, parsnips, radishes, lettuce, onions and spuds are all doing really well, onions are pretty much ready to crop now....gherkins, carrots and more onions in the baths, tree spinach gone wild and the chard is like a carpet....peppers flowering in the big greenhouse and my chilli plant is coming along well too, also got leeks and sprouts that are nearly ready for planting out....broccoli has gone to seed but the seed heads are forming well so we will collect the seed when it's ready....tomatoes are just starting to turn red (very excited) in the little greenhouse and the main crop spuds are all coming along well too....also a little look at the overflow tank I've connected to the two main rainwater collection tanks, and that's about it for this week....
