The increasing number of 'tent cities' is a health and safety hazard.

There can be no doubt that the numerous tent cities rising along our streets, in our parks, and even on the steps of government buildings and businesses is on the rise. This is the result of weak governance pandering to the criminal and destitute elements.

Our cities are no longer safe to walk and our downtown businesses and shops are closing at record rates as these 'welfare rats' continue to encroach on the land and property of honest, hardworking citizens. The problem is the result of liberal-minded [largely Democrat] city governments who seem to welcome these vermin, so long as they don't pitch a tent in the mayor's back yard.

If we don't put our foot down soon, we won't have a place to put it down.
