Book Review: Mao's Great Famine by Frank Dikötter
Here is just one example of how vile socialism is as a political philosophy. This has been tried multiple times over the course of the 20th century and in to the 21st century with consistent results. In science, I believe this is what's called empirical evidence. Observable results which are true regardless of where the experiment occurred. Take one power hungry asshole, put him in charge with a bunch of sycophants, and watch him desolate a country. Always with devastating results. Nothing changes. Yet they still want to try socialism here. Read Mao's Great Famine by Frank Dikötter for a glimpse of just how bad this shitty philosophy can get.
