Welcome to Day 192, July 11th, 2023. We read the shepherd Amos becoming a prophet of the Lord, speaking to the northern kingdom of Israel. Judgement is pronounce on Israel, Judah, and their Neighbors, the authority of the prophet's message is established and Israel's guilt, sins, and punishment are listed, Israel has not accepted correction and not returned to the Lord, a lamentation is given for Israel, and a call to repentance is issued. The Day of the Lord draws near.
