November 5th, 2014 Snow in Grand Forks

Live Storms Media stringer, Matthew Eckhoff, captures the first snowflakes of the season on the University of North Dakota campus. Parts of the area have seen around 1" of snow accumulate on the grassy surfaces as temperatures hover around the freezing mark near the noon hour. A passing cold front is responsible for the quick shot of snow.
