Captured Ukrainian servicemen tell how their commanders ‘remotely’ set tasks without showing up at the front line, as a result of which they have absolutely no knowledge about the situation and often make mistakes, and the price of their mistakes is the lives of AFU soldiers.

▫️ The loss of manpower of the AFU is great: a lot of units have been replenished with personnel from among those mobilised four or five times.

▫️ A newly arrived serviceman can be given a bulletproof vest taken off a killed man. This attitude towards AFU soldiers leads to low morale. ‘The third company was released on leave for 15 days, only half of the platoon returned from a full company,’ said a captured AFU serviceman.

▫️ Captives note humane treatment by Russian fighters and commanders. Those who surrendered are given food and water, as well as provided with necessary medical care.
