I was impressed with the joint that these brackets created. By using two of them with 16 4x4s on a 5x5 base made out of 2x6s, I was able to create a sturdy platform.
I especially liked how easy it was to secure the platform to a tree. I simply leaned it against the tree and lag bolted it in place. This allowed me to utilize the platform for my ground blind, with just enough room to spare.
The quality of the product is excellent. The material used is thick and durable, and the coating adds an extra layer of protection. In terms of value for money, this product beats its competitors hands down.
These brackets are perfect for building a platform. There are plenty of holes to securely attach them to the legs or platform. I invested around $350 in the complete platform, excluding the blind.
I made sure to use quality anchors and treated lumber to ensure stability, especially since I built it to be 12 feet high. I am very satisfied with the cost and quality of these brackets.
In fact, I plan on purchasing more for future projects. It would be great if the product came with the necessary screws or bolts. I found that the instructions did not specify the diameter of bolts to use.
However, this was a minor inconvenience considering the overall performance of the brackets. While similar products are available at other retailers, I found that these brackets offer the same quality at a much more affordable price.
There is no need to look elsewhere. Overall, these brackets exceeded my expectations. They were exactly as described and proved to be sturdy and well-manufactured.
I am confident in their ability to withstand the setup of a shoot house for deer.
