Building alternative clients in Polkadot | Polkadot Decoded 2023

Today only Substrate client secures the Polkadot and Kusama, which puts these blockchains in a vulnerable position, where a single bug could bring down the entire network. Fortunately, there are several teams currently building alternative clients in various languages. Some clients, such as KAGOME, are already securing Polkadot's testnet Westend, and will soon join other networks. In this talk, we will review the current state of various Polkadot client implementations and explain the innovations that they can bring to the ecosystem
