ISOM: "Hand-Holding" Vs. Good Communication

A couple frequent objections raised against my critiques of the Rippaverse title ISOM are, "You don't have to know everything up front!" and, "The writer isn't going to hold your hand!" But there's a difference between "hand-holding" and being a good communicator through your comics.
