Paddle boarding with baby dolphins
Everyone has heard that you can swim with the dolphins, but have you ever paddle boarded with one, let alone 6 dolphins? An unheard of phenomena up until now! Paddle boarder Rich German captured this footage of an adorable pod consisting of 6 Bottlenose dolphins just off the coast of Laguna Beach CA. Watch as one of the baby dolphins actually interacts with him!
The open sea can be a beautiful place. With so much amazing sea life that in land, we would otherwise be unable to interact with. Maybe that's for the best, but none the less, this is still an amazing moment! You never know what you're going to find when you set out for the open waters. You can bet that Rich German wasn't planning to be accompanied by a pod of dolphins on his little trip!
The amazing thing is that it seems like these dolphins accept Rich into their pod. You can even see that they casually wait for him to catch up so they can all move together as a unit, now that's awesome!
