Is Evil Dead the Best Horror Movie Franchise Ever?

Welcome to the Catacombs of Horror.

In this edition I compare the Evil Dead movie franchise to five other horror movie franchises to see where it lands in my House of Horror Franchises. Is Evil Dead the greatest horror movie franchise of all time, or is it one of the five challengers I match it against? Comparing these franchises is like talking about all time greats in sports- you have to be critical and nit-pick in order to come to a final resolution.
