D.C. United head coach Wayne Rooney will lead the MLS All-Stars on 19 July against Arsenal FC at Audi Field in Washington. MLS hosted a conversation with Rooney on Monday, discussing the upcoming match and the addition of superstar Lionel Messi to Inter Miami.

United currently sits eighth in the MLS Eastern Conference at 8-6-9. They drew 2-2 with Inter Miami on Saturday.

It was the final match for Miami with interim head coach Javier Morales, as new gaffer Geraldo "Tata" Martino took over Monday. Messi and Sergio Busquets are expected to be unveiled as the newest members of Inter during a special event in Miami on 16 July.
