This is my first published book in a while.

Living on the streets was not my first choice, but my only choice.

After running away from home, I found myself homeless, penniless, and hungry. Not long ago, I met two friends, Samuel and Tammy, and they helped me get through the last few years. One rainy night, I was heading to the building we stayed in when I spotted two police cars and heard a woman’s voice call my name. They followed me until I came face to face with the woman calling me named Sophia. She wanted to talk, but I was not interested in what she had to say under the pouring rain. Shortly after, I became sick and this woman, gave me food and medicine. Sophia told me that Eve, my sister, was alive and living in Texas. I had a tough choice to make, do I stay in California or fly to Texas and discover the truth about my family?
