Adorable White Lion Cubs Enjoy Playtime Together

How precious is this? A heart-warming moment features two 8-month-old white lion cubs, named Sasha and Shimba who love to spend time with each other. Watch as they run around and enjoy some playtime at the "Living With Big Cats" volunteer program in South Africa. They have so much energy and look like they are enjoying their day very much! The white lion is a rare colour mutation of the lion. It was believed for a very long time that white lions could not survive in the wild by themselves. This is why most white lions are now in zoos. A recessive gene is what gives lions their white colour. A similar gene also produces white tigers, interesting! A white lion is from the same species as an African lion even though they are different in colour.
