What you are seeing here is a frequent sight on the streets of the city. The rain is falling, there is a malfunction of the traffic lights somewhere and not a traffic policeman in sight. It is one of the biggest and most frequent intersections in Skopje, very close to the city center.

It is sad to say it, but here it goes - in an attempt to look after their own worries and time, these drivers forgot the principal rules of traffic. It is evident that the intersection is equipped with traffic signs to direct the literate drivers in case the electronic signalization is unavailable, but when the weather is bad, citizens of Skopje forget that there are other people in the city, other than them!

There are signs to signal drivers which side of the intersection has priority and which sides have to give way and we are certain that all of the drivers involved in this mess have passed the basic driver’s test. However, when the occasion calls for it, they conveniently forget. And they are stuck.
