Big - because it’s big.

Sendy - because it’s going to be sendy!
Swing - because it’s a swing!

To achieve this we need at least 6 people who can help with the loading, building and dismantling the swing for the full weekend. We need mechanically minded people who know their way around a spanner. If that sounds like you, drop me a messege and I will add you to the group chat where we will undertake a 6 week training course.

Welcome to the first event of this kind in the UK cliff jumping community where we will be undertaking first full scale testing and sending of the swing, which first started as a project in January 2023.

The swing is custom built with a mixture of recycled and fresh materials all funded by the UKCJ community. The swing has not been run at full capacity before so there is a very small possibility of error (again, we retain no responsibility as agreed with your attendance.

A commercial scale swing is priced around 7k and we have managed to build one for you awesome people for less than £600!! (excluding labour which will be invoiced separately.

That's enough of the boring part. The exact location will be shared a couple of weeks before the event. Newbies are welcome as there is a small bridge to jump from but only competent personnel will be let loose on the swing given the nature and risk. Trampette will be there but be cautious as it's quite a busy road bridge.

This is a new spot we have scoped and sent just for the testing of the swing so unsure if we will attract any unwanted visitors, we were fine on the scoping day.

Car parking is near enough right at the spot if you're arriving early please be considerate and let the van with the swing be closest to the entry to the river bank.

There is a nice camp spot 5 minute drive from the location just off a main road, plenty big enough for everyone. There is a height barrier around 2.2 meters, but there is an off road track to pull up beside the river. There is also space for a couple of vans before the barrier, but it’s closer to main road. For anyone staying in a tent, you can pitch up right next to the parking spot or a 10 second walk and pitch up on the river bank with benches and places to put a bbq/ stove.

If by any chance on the weekend we are forced to take the swing down or anything fails and we are unable to continue sending the swing - There is plan B which involves getting the blob out at magdalen and sending that for the day. It also has a slightly higher bridge and trampette. So either way people won't be wasting their time coming if anything happens.
