Iran moves toward possible atom bomb test in defiance of Western sanctions

Newly obtained European intelligence reports have uncovered evidence suggesting that the Islamic Republic of Iran attempted to circumvent U.S. and EU sanctions in order to acquire technology for its nuclear weapons program, with the intention of eventually conducting an atomic bomb test.

The Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI) was the first to release translations of these intelligence documents on its website, Fox News reports.

Security agencies from Sweden, the Netherlands, and Germany disclosed sensitive information during the initial six months of 2023 regarding the illicit nuclear weapons proliferation activities of the Iranian regime.
