How to Plant Bare Root Strawberries

Bare root strawberries are the least expensive way to start your very own strawberry patch. They are available in the early spring. You can purchase them from online nurseries and even some local nurseries will carry them.

I ordered 1000 of them from Johnny's Select Seeds. Here is the link if you are interested. https://www.johnnyseeds.com/fruits/strawberry/strawberry-bare-root-plants/albion-strawberry-plants-3289.html?cgid=strawberry-bare-root-plants#start=1 Make sure that you get them ordered in the early fall or they will be sold out. A group order is a great way for everyone to share and get a great price on plants.

Self-reliance is a worthy goal. Growing even some of your own food is a huge step to becoming more self-reliant. If you are just getting started check out these posts at The Provident Prepper.
