Survival Garden: Pruning Tomatoes (or Not) for Maximum Yield

Does pruning tomatoes increase the amount and quality of tomatoes produced? Many factors play in tomato production including variety, soil fertility, weather, and pruning.

In this video, we show you 3 different gardens that produce fantastic tomato yields by using different methods. I use permaculture techniques. Suzanne uses organic fertilizers and prunes her tomatoes. Vicki plants her tomatoes in black plastic and doesn't prune them at all. Each of these methods successfully grows tomatoes.

A huge thank you to Suzanne and Vicki for sharing their gardens with us!

You can purchase the fertilizers that Suzanne recommends on Amazon.
