How to Make Homemade Healing Comfrey Salve

We make all kinds of valuable things on our little homestead. In this video, I share my recipe for homemade healing comfrey salve. Healing salve is a staple in our home and used for a variety of applications from chapped hands, to cuts and abrasions, to sprained ankles, to sore muscles, to cold sores. It is my "go-to" treatment.

It is easy to grow these dried herbs in your very own yard ... even if you only have a little bit of space. You can also purchase them at health food stores or on Amazon. There are links below to some of the items if you need to purchase them to make your own salve.

Organic Beeswax Pellets (1 pound) https://amzn.to/31JMdmA

Dried Comfrey Leaf (1 pound) https://amzn.to/2ULY6XM

Dried Lemon Balm (1 pound) https://amzn.to/37eSo3b

Dried Plantain Leaf (4 ounces) https://amzn.to/3brPGuC

Dried Lavender (1 pound) https://amzn.to/2tPwjL7

Dried Spearmint (1 pound) https://amzn.to/31Kyoo4

Calendula Flowers (1 pound) https://amzn.to/2tLjVvs

Lemon Oil (4 ounces) https://amzn.to/37eSRlX

Peppermint Oil (4 ounces) https://amzn.to/2HgcbFa

Coconut Oil (54 ounces) https://amzn.to/3brQcc2

Plastic Jars (24 - 4 ounce jars) https://amzn.to/2tPxo5D

Remember .... it is much less expensive to grow your own. However, this salve is worth the price even if you must buy the supplies to make it.

Thanks for being part of the solution!
