Tips for Making Homemade Facemasks

Staying home is the best way to stay safe during this worldwide pandemic. Unfortunately, that may not always be an option. The Centers for Disease Control is recommending that people wear masks whenever they are out in public.

Medical personnel and first responders should have access to the limited supply of personal protective equipment. They are on the front lines and are at greatest risk of infection as they risk their lives to serve us.

That means that if you haven't prepared in advance with personal protective equipment, it would be a really good idea for you to make homemade masks to limit exposure in public places.

In this video, we discuss guidelines for making quality facemasks and I demonstrate how I make homemade facemasks for our family.

It's time to get serious about prepping! Right now is a good time to sit down and develop your family emergency plan so that regardless of the challenges you may face in the future your family will be able to be self-reliant.

Now is NOT a good time to stock up on limited supplies. Use the resources that you currently have wisely and take good notes on things that you should stock up on in the future. Stock up a little extra each when the supply chain normalizes.
