Quick and delicious freeze-dried hashbrown patties are a great way to save freezer space and still have all the convenience of frozen hashbrowns. In this video, we give freeze-drying hashbrowns a try and are pleasantly surprised.

Freeze-dried hashbrowns reconstitute surprisingly well by just adding water. We packaged them in Mylar bags with oxygen absorbers but I don't anticipate the shelf life will be much over 5 years due to the oil in the hashbrowns. The cooler the temperature, the longer they will last.
