BIBLE THUMPER / Pastor Bob's Coffee Break

Dear Pastor Bob: This may sound silly, but should we as Christians thump the Bible? I ask because whenever we try and share our faith with people, they often accuse of us of being nothing but a bunch Bible thumpers. How do we overcome this? How do we share our faith without cramming it down people’s throats? How do we get them to want to hear what we have to say? Some say we should preach with our actions because they speak louder. But aren’t words necessary too? After all, doesn’t faith come by hearing the Word of God?
