A funny footage has emerged of a man eating fast food while exercising. This is the bizarre moment when a member of the Planet Fitness gym chain was captured eating pizza while doing some machine-assisted crunches. Ugo Arimo caught this awkward footage on camera and shared it with the world.
Apparently, the low-impact fitness machine gives away free slices of pizza to the most devoted members for their efforts. A slice of pizza never killed nobody, if anything it helped tone the core. The man was spotted munching on the delicious treat while ignorantly doing machine-assisted crunches like it is not that big of a deal.
For moderate exercise, the research is mixed as to whether eating energy bars or drinks during a workout improves performance. Reportedly, a typical power drink during a one-hour workout is fine. However, eating a healthy meal after the workout is more preferable.
Even though, some people may consider pizza to be a junk food, but it can be beneficial as a post-workout snack or meal if you use whole wheat crust and healthy toppings. Eating the right amount of carbohydrates and proteins after a workout can speed muscle recovery and help your body refuel so that you have more energy.
Eat pizza within two hours of finishing a workout to stimulate muscle synthesis and repair. Pizza is more likely to be an appropriate post-workout snack after a long, intense workout rather than a short, low-intensity session, such as walking. However, eating pizza mid-exercising is sure not helping you burn them calories!
