Scientists Grow Human Cartlilage Using Stem Cells

Researchers at Columbia University successfully grow fully functional human cartilage for the first time in a laboratory. The scientists used adult bone marrow stem cells and condensed them through a process that mimics how the body produces the flexible tissue naturally. Tara Cleary reports. Credit to Reuters.
