Why Learning About Bugging Out Isn't About Bugging Out

I've been working on the bugging out course at the BOL, and it reminded me why learning about bugging out is important. To most of us, bugging out is a last resort and something we will never do. When we see an article or video about bugging out, it's almost like, "Here we go again." With so much else involved in prepping, I don't have time for this.

Realistically though, there is a lot to be learned from bugging out that can be applied to other areas of preparedness. Topics like escape and evasion tactics, organizing and storing supplies, family planning, and off-grid survival, to name a few.

I also want to discuss a video I saw from Magic Prepper about “A Necessary Shift in the Preparedness Community” which goes along with why everything we learn about bugging out is becoming more important as time goes on.
