2024 Volkswagen T-Cross New vs Old VW T-Cross.
Volkswagen presented the updated crossover T-Cross.
The changes start at the front, where the 2024 T-Cross gets matrix LED headlights as standard on the Style and R-Line models, and optional on the smaller Life version. They are visually connected by a light strip located next to the Volkswagen badge.

In the future, Volkswagen is abandoning halogen headlights, making non-adaptive LED headlights standard equipment. Regardless of trim level, all T-Cross variants will feature this silver underbody protection. The base model will have 16-inch alloy wheels, while the top-of-the-line models will get larger 17-inch wheels.
At the rear, the taillights feature an X-pattern, which is also found in the middle.

Although it's technically just a facelifted T-Cross, it's 27 millimeters longer than its predecessor after reshaping the bumpers. It now measures 4135mm and has a relatively long wheelbase of 2563mm.

Interior.

Talking about the interior, all versions now come with an 8-inch or 10-inch digital instrument cluster depending on the trim level.

On the central console there is a free-standing display with a diagonal of 8 inches in cheaper T-Cross models or 9.2 inches for top configurations. VW says the infotainment system uses the latest hardware and software. For versions with automatic climate control, touch and slider buttons with illumination are provided.

Under the hood.

The model range of engines includes conventional engines, starting with 1.0 TSI. A turbocharged three-cylinder unit is available with 95 hp. (70 kW) or 116 hp. (86 kW).

The former works with a five-speed manual transmission, while the latter gets a six-speed or an optional seven-speed dual-clutch automatic. The larger 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine, available exclusively with DSG, has 150 hp. All three units send power exclusively to the front wheels, as is the case with all VW Group models running on the MQB A0 platform.

VW will begin taking orders this fall and plans to begin deliveries in the first quarter of 2024. Meanwhile, the related Skoda Kamiq will also be ready to debut later this year.
