An awkward first date filmed with Google Glass

'Friday Night Is Date Night' is a short film by filmmakers Boonsri Dickinson and Daniel Feighery. Using Google Glass, they were able to capture the essence of the awkwardness that occurs on a first date as well as share what the guy was really thinking versus what he was saying. The pioneering short film used Google Glass as a medium to open up a new kind of storytelling. The wearable technology also reduced the barrier between filming by combining the role of the cameraman and the actor.
