#49 On Freedom vs Security. "A dog's heart" by Milhail Bulgakov. Censured in the early 1920s. Published about 60 years later, well after his death. Became very popular in Russia as a critique of early Soviet Society. Well worth reading. A society moving from autocracy and authoritarianism to totalitarianism.
