DEVELOPING! Flash Flood Emergency declared for the Highland Falls/West Point areas, New York.

"It’s not a good situation in Orange County right now. Flooding is bad! Reports of people swept away by rising flash flood waters.

Route 6 near Long Mountain Circle has collapsed on shoulder.  Multiple areas near West Point are under water. Orange County Battalion 8 water rescue team has been activated for deployments to flooded areas, (staging at OC Fire Training Center)"
