God Loves You | #shorts

The Apostle Paul went through great trials, was shipwrecked both physically and spiritually, and ultimately was imprisoned and gave his life for God.

He knew hardship...likely greater hardship than you or I will ever experience.

At the same time, in his epistle to the Romans (and to us) he shares one of the simplest and most powerful testimonies of the love of God in all scripture:

"38 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord." - Romans 8:38-39 KJV

Those verses and I believe the Holy Spirit inspired me to write a simple poem about God's Love which I then turned into this video.

No matter where you are,
who you are,
or what you have done,

God Loves You.

No matter how rich you are,
how smart you are,
or how good you are,

God Loves You.

If you are young, if you are old,
If you are meek, if you are bold,
If you are faithful, if you are lost,
It does not matter. He paid your cost.

God Loves You.

Friends and family have come and will go.
Nations of men will overthrow.
Kings and rulers lose their crown.
The deepest jungle will yet turn brown.

But nothing can break or change this line.
No matter how dense the dark combine.
Nothing can hide you and nothing can end.
The love eternal from your best friend.

God Loves You.

So as this poem comes to close.
As will this world and those you know.
Know this, keep this, always retain.
This simple, eternal, three word refrain.
