Act 3 of the video game Quantum Break takes place after the protagonist Jack Joyce successfully retrieves a countermeasure to stop the time fracture. As he navigates the Monarch Corporation's facility, he discovers that Paul Serene, the corporation's CEO, has become corrupted by the time-manipulation powers and is determined to reshape time to his own advantage. Jack's main objective in Act 3 is to confront Paul Serene and prevent him from carrying out his plans.

The act begins with Jack's confrontation with Serene's right-hand man, Martin Hatch, who has also gained time-manipulation abilities. Hatch reveals that he is working with Serene to ensure the completion of their grand plan. Jack must face off against Hatch and his loyal followers in intense combat encounters.

As Jack progresses through the facility, he encounters various time anomalies and distorted environments, reflecting the deteriorating state of time. He must navigate these hazardous areas while dealing with Monarch soldiers and other hostile forces.

Jack eventually reaches Serene's central control room, where he confronts him directly. The two engage in a tense battle, utilizing their time powers to gain an advantage. Throughout the fight, Serene taunts Jack, revealing his twisted view of manipulating time to control the world and achieve ultimate power.

In a climactic moment, Jack manages to defeat Serene and disable the time-manipulation device he was using. However, the time fracture continues to worsen, and Jack realizes that the countermeasure he retrieved earlier is not enough to fully stop the time anomaly. He must find another solution to save time itself.

As Act 3 comes to a close, Jack, joined by his allies, including Beth Wilder and Dr. Sofia Amaral, regroups to formulate a new plan. They are determined to find a way to prevent the total collapse of time and restore order. The stage is set for the final act of the game, as Jack and his companions embark on a race against time to set things right and prevent a catastrophic outcome.
