"District Fire" rages near California’s Interstate

A fire known as the District Fire broke out near Fort Tejon in Kern County, California, leading to the closure of two northbound lanes on Interstate 5, according to the California Highway Patrol. CALFIRE reported that as of Sunday, the fire had burned 1,044 acres and was 80% contained.
