It was a hot summer Friday in Texas when 30-year-old Betty Gore was violently killed in her home with an axe. Candace “Candy” Montgomery, a 30-year-old family friend, fellow church member and ex-lover of Gore’s husband Allan Gore, was soon arrested for the crime.
This case is rather bizarre , the entire scenario was told by the perpetrator so it's hard to imagine how any one on the Jury would believe a word of what Candace "Candy" Montgomery said about the incident .

How did anyone believe that Betty Gore threatened her with an axe, then put it down, gathered up some items for Candy Montgomery to then take to Betty Gore's own daughter? That makes NO sense! But...
