Fishing Detroit River-Saint Claire Shores July 2023

As much as I did not want to go fishing today, we went and had a great time. We were fishing anywhere between eight and 13 feet. The late night bite was the best. It seems to be light here until almost 9 o’clock so it was hard to leave even at 8:15pm.
On a personal note I am just happy that my husband is able to fish. After two heart attacks two years ago and a lot of medical problems, including Cushing’s disease, which nobody knows what it is or how to treat it, he still able to do what he loves. He’s able to improvise when he needs to and get the job done. I just love to hear the joy in his voice.
